The provincial government has moved Niagara into the Red zone, clearing the way for limited church attendance with restrictions as before.

Dr. Hirji, our medical doctor of heath does not agree. He thinks that in light of the mutant viruses and other factors, we should not open up yet.

Church council has voted to delay opening until Easter which is April 4th. This is dependent on our status at that time. Hopefully this will be our last closure. I pray that we can all be vaccinated soon and return to a more “normal” situation.

I thank all who have continued to support their church with their offerings during this difficult time. In the meantime, take care of yourselves and each other.

Here are the instructions for joining the World Day of Prayer on Zoom – Friday, March 5 @1:30pm – hosted by Central United Church

*Before proceeding with these instructions, please phone Central United Church at 905 – 735-2333 to get the Zoom link and pass-code.

If you cannot or do not wish to participate in the Zoom call on March 5, you can access the same Zoom video NOW, by going HERE. You do not need a pass-code to access this video.

If you want to participate remotely on Zoom, on Friday, March 5 at 1:30 pm:

1. Before March 5, if you have not already done so, download the Zoom program to your computer, tablet or phone.  (It is a free download and is very easy to do.)

2. On March 5, at about 1:15 pm, connect to the provided Zoom link and enter the pass-code, which you have previously obtained from Central United.

Relax and watch the presentation from the safety of your home.  If you want to test it ahead of time, there is a live stream worship from Central United Church, on Sunday mornings at 10 am.  Feel free to try it then.

On March 5, there will be a live welcome and further information on how to send donations.  They need our support since they went to a lot of expense to produce the video.
