Hello everyone,

Last week Open Arms Mission emailed an update to Welland churches with the following information: “Our non-perishable food stocks are significantly depleted and this is a result of a 150% in demand for food in the Welland community. The Welland Food Drive gave us $30,000 for food yet each week we give out between $5000-$7000 worth of food. In less than a month, we will be out of pasta sauce and other key items.”

In response to this great need, Open Arms Mission is planning a pop-up food drive.

Brian and Sinikka Speck are offering their home as a drop-off location for donations from members of St. Matthew’s.
