It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marguerite Ella Duly (nee Misener) on June 12, 2022 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late George Duly, proud and loving mother of Greg (Delores) and Nola (Mike). Adoring grandmother to Amanda (Mick), Ryan (Echo), Evan (Julianne), Robert (Velvet) and Meaghan (Ben) as well as her 8 great grandchildren Alanna, Tristan, Aaron, Paige, Abigail, Riley, Ryan and Emma. Marguerite will be remembered for her love of people, singing, nature, cooking and her faithful devotion to her husband and family. She was known for her kindness, generosity and her ability to make people feel comfortable and her happy, caring and compassionate nature.

Marguerite was an active member of the Lutheran Church and a long-standing member of their choir. She had a joyful and radiant spirit right up until the end. Our family is deeply grateful for the wonderful care and personal compassion provided by the dedicated staff of Right At Home who made it possible for her to spend her last years at home with her beloved family.

Guests are invited to meet in the parking area Pleasantview Funeral Home, 2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 10:45 a.m. when we will make our way to Pleasantview Memorial Gardens where a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Evangelical-Lutheran Church, 146 Sligo Road, West, Mount Forest, Ontario, N0G 2L1 or the Victoria Order of Nurses (earmarked for Mount Forest), would be greatly appreciated by the family.
