Just in case you wondered why yesterday’s Preview video was so short, it turned out that the wrong video was incorrectly uploaded (it’s a long story). Although it may be a day late now, here’s the correct video for you to enjoy, and it’s well worth watching!
As Mark’s Gospel carries us through Jesus’ life and its significance, one gets a sense of the mystery of it all. Not like Murdoch mysteries where good detective work and a little luck resolve cases; more like the sense of wonder in the presence of things we can’t really understand or explain…like that way of being Mark describes as the kingdom of God.
Today’s worship service was held at First Lutheran, Pt. Colborne. Organized by the Leadership Team of the Lutheran Churches of Niagara, the service was attended by six Lutheran congregations from within the Niagara Region. Pastors Julio Romero and Bart Coleman were the presiding ministers. After the service, a BBQ luncheon, hosted by First Lutheran members, was enjoyed by all in the church hall.
