Death of Church Member – Margaret Galbraith

center-149x195-4731171GALBRAITH, Margaret (nee Minor) – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Christmas Day, Sunday December 25, 2016 in her 88th year. Loving mother of Dr. Grant Galbraith (Terry Merritt) of Lexington Ohio. Proud grandmother of Matthew (Sue) and Taylor Galbraith and great-grandmother of Dean, Miles and Tessa. Much loved aunt of Linda Belaire (Brett) and Janet Bott (Michael). Special great-aunt of Jessica Belaire (Steven Clark), Melyssa Belaire, Kaitlyn Fenamore (Brad) and Mariah and Megan Bott. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her cherished son Drew, husband Jack, sister Arlean McGill and special brother-in-law Cecil McGill. Margaret was a lifetime and faithful member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church and active in many areas of service including the Alter Guild. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the St. Matthew’s community, Dr. M Ali and the many loving neighbors and friends for providing care and support for many years. Respecting Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Thursday, December 29th at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service beginning at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church Improvement Fund or the Hope Centre would be appreciated by the family. Death of Church Member – Cliff Schultz

c-schultzSCHULTZ, Clifford Edward – Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Rapelje Lodge at the age of 79. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marilyn Schultz (nee Ashick). Cherished father of Brenda Schultz (Stam Fountoulakis) of Toronto and Ian Schultz (Leslie) of Sharon, Ontario. Dear grandfather of Kennedy, Kira, Peyton and Maclean. Dear brother of Verna Feindel (the late Max Layman and the late Lester Feindel). He is also survived by his in-laws Lila and Herbert Martinat, Clarence Ashick (Ellen Baker), Marion Ashick (the late Garnet) and Lydia Ashick (the late Eric) and his numerous nieces and nephews.
