On Friday, May 6, 2016 at 6pm St. Matthew’s Men cooked up their annual scrumptious Italian style supper for the Ladies in honour of Mother’s Day this Sunday. Fifty-five ladies, young and old, showed up for the festive event. After supper, Sheila Kiess, in keeping with our celebration of the 140th Anniversary of our Church, humourously entertained us by recognizing the “first” women of our church. A penny sale draw was held at the end of the evening, with gifts generously donated by church members.
