OUR 2ND COMMUNITY CORNROAST took place on Saturday, August 13, again in our backyard GreenSpace, where a light breeze offered some relief to a very hot and humid afternoon. Dozens of folks from the surrounding neighbourhood came to feast on fresh corn, hot dogs, and ice cream. Games and face painting for children were held in the church basement where it was cooler. Several lucky people were the recipients of the free draw. Once again the success of this event was the result of organization by Dianne Yungblut and her team of hard-working volunteers.
