Even during the shut-down, St. Matthew’s is still striving to be a church in mission for others. By combining the proceeds from our Shrove Tuesday pancake supper and the extra lent donations, we were able to provide Open Arms Mission with a generous cheque to support their food bank. The current need in Welland is great, and we know that these funds will go far in providing meals for the most vulnerable people of our city.
