MYKE, Barbara Easton (Alexander) It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Barbara Myke announce her passing. Barbara passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 peacefully in her sleep in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband Chuck, her sons Monty and Charles, and siblings May, Joan, Karl, Harold, and Fred. Dear mother of Sheila (Tom) and Pauline (Denis), grandma of Erin (Chad) and Amber, and great-grandma of Paige, Quinn, and Reid. Born in Niagara-on-the-Lake and a resident of Cooks Mills and Welland for many years. She was a private in WWII stationed in Montreal. Also a member of the Cooks Mills United and St. Matthew’s Lutheran Churches. In honouring Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favourite charity.
