BOYAK, Mary Belle (nee Taylor) – It is with heavy hearts but with profound thanksgiving for a life well lived that our family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Belle Boyak on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Boyak. Cherished mother of Mark (late Susan) Boyak, Shirley (Paul) Marando, Erwin (Kim) Boyak and the late Heather Irvine. Proud grandmother of Sara Meaney (Richard), Krista Boyak (Chris Allen), Allison Michiardi (Pier), Dr. Paul Marando Jr. (Jennifer), Dr. James Marando (Meagan), Dr. Andrew Marando (Shawna), Dr. Timothy Marando (Simona), Erwin Jr. “E.J.” Boyak (Kristina), Amie Giuliano, Taylor Irvine (Sky). Great-grandmother of Jessica and Alex Meaney, Sophia and Spence Allan, Damiano and Jake Michiardi, Maverick, Ava, Payton, Nadia and Mya Marando, Colton Boyak, Nicolina and Gianluca Giuliano. Dear sister of David Taylor (Elaine) and sister-in-law of Mary McNeil and Jean Ann Taylor. Predeceased by her brothers Erwin and Alvin Taylor. Mary was a life time member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church where she was part of the Altar Guild. Of all the things in life, Mary was the most proud of her family. As her family grew, grandchildren and great-grandchildren became the apple of her eye. Sincerest gratitude is extended to the staff and residents of St. Charles Village where Mary resided for the past ten years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Respecting Mary’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and in keeping with her love of the Church, memorial donations in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Cards available at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland who are in care of the funeral arrangements. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com
