EBERT, Sylvia (nee Rumpel) –  Passed away peacefully, in her 80th year, at Northland Pointe on Friday, September 4, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Rudolf “Rudy” (January 2015). Cherished mother of Debbie Blanchard (David), Terry Lochhead (Mike) and Kimberly Ross (Chip). Proud grandmother of Cheryl Metcalf (Mat), Paul Blanchard (Roxanne), Allison Lochhead-Marshall (Curt), Scott Blanchard (Sarah), Courtney Ross, Lauren Ross and great-grandmother of Lillie, Charlotte, Abby, Aprilynn, Bridget and Autumn. Dear sister of Henry Rumpel (Shirley) and Edward Rumpel (Marlene). Predeceased by her parents Joe and Molly Rumpel and brothers Martin and Roger. Sylvia was a long time member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME  , 241 West Main Street, Welland on Tuesday (today), September 8th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Pastor Jukka Saarinen will conduct the Funeral Service in the Cudney Chapel on Wednesday, September 9th at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Overholt Cemetery.
