At 7:00 a.m. Easter morning, April 2, 1961, the men of St. Matthew?s prepared and served (and cleaned up!) the very first Easter breakfast in the Fellowship Hall. The breakfast consisted of juice, ham, scrambled eggs, toast and jam, and coffee. The event was so well received that it became a well-attended annual tradition until 2017.
