12 TH ANNUAL BIKE CLINIC AND NEIGHBOURHOOD BBQ was held on Saturday, May 5, welcomed about 30 young and old(er) cyclists to have their bikes tuned (there was even a unicycle!), and enjoy hot dogs hamburgers, cookies and drinks. It was a cool, windy day, but at least we were not rained out as we were last year. The past few years have seen a declining number in attendance due to the changing demographic of the neighbourhood, including fewer children, and families moving away. As a result, this event may have to be re-evaluated and possibly discontinued. But it was fun while it lasted ! As in past years, many volunteers made it possible to carry on this event for one more year, and we thank them for cheerfully giving their time and service.
