LUKAT, Walter – Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Thursday, August 15, 2013 in his 85th year. Mr. Lukat is survived by his brother-in-law Bill Potyok Sr. (late Helen), niece Linda Thomerson (late Jim) and nephews Albert Potyok (Yvonne), Bill Potyok Jr. and Jim Potyok (Gloria). Walter was predeceased by his wife Margaret (1988), parents Julius and Ida Lukat, brother Richard Lukat and his wife Violet, sister-in-law Elizabeth Tokar (John) and brother-in-law Steve Rencsok (Olga). Walter had worked at Atlas Steels for over 25 years before his retirement. The family will receive their friends atH. L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME , 241 West Main Street, Welland on Saturday, August 17th from 1-2 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Cudney Chapel at 2 o’clock.
