Death of Church Member – Dale White

WHITE, Dale Benjamin – at the Welland Hospital on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Mary White (nee, Baker) for 39 years. Loving father of Sandra Ann Beggs (David) and Pamela Gail White and stepfather of David Baker (Jane). Cherished grandfather of Christopher and Brianna. Dear brother-in-law of Robert Giles (Helen) and Leo Giles (Agnes). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clara and Curtis White and brothers Douglas (Carmella), Kenneth (Betty) and Conrad (Evelyn). Mr. White served his country in the Korean War. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. #4, Welland, an original member of the Bellerophon Band and a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church. During his working life Mr. White was employed at Atlas Steels for over 30 years. Friends are invited to visit the family at theH.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME , 241 West Main Street, Welland, on Friday, January 31st from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Pastor Jukka Saarinen will conduct the funeral service in the Cudney Chapel on Saturday, February 1st at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Overholt Cemetery will follow. The Royal Canadian Legion will conduct a Legion Service on Friday, January 31st at 4:00 p.m. at the Cudney Funeral Home.
